Sometimes you get an email that you don't expect but in the realm of possibilities, it seems logical: "A Radio Show Perhaps?" That was the subject line and the answer was "yes" by the time I finished reading.

My good friend, band mate, and teaching mentor, Scott Davis is the host of Sunday Morning Jazz, a four hour jazz radio show on Sunday mornings. When he announced that he'd like to cut back, my name came up...and I'm so happy it did.

I'll be joining Scott Davis, Abe Goldstien, Ron Sorenson, and the entire KFMG family starting this Sunday July 19 from 6 to 8 am for Take the Jazz Train. Where will the Jazz Train take you? For those that know my musical tastes, you know that train is going to go a lot of places. Tune in to KFMG 98.9 FM to find out.

If you live near downtown Des Moines, you can listen in at 98.9 on your FM dial. If you're anywhere else in the world, you can listen online at KFMG.org If you choose to listen online, keep in mind that my show is from 6 to 8am Central Time.
